The Crimson Development System by Crimson Compilers Introduction The Crimson Basic Development System is designed to facilitate the production of modern GUI (Graphical User Interface) applications on the Macintosh platform using an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) to automate the GUI design, compilation and linking required to produce a complete application. Crimson Basic incorporates a true compiler, no external libraries or DLL's are required to support the compiled application.
